ACTIVATE EXPANDS DOWN UNDER WITH FIRST AUSTRALIAN LOCATION IN MELBOURNE

WINNIPEG, MB, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Activate, North America's fastest-growing entertainment experience and the original creator of active gaming, is expanding into Australia, with its first location set to open in Melbourne in early 2027.

Activate Melbourne (Highpoint) will open at Highpoint Shopping Centre, next to HOYTS Cinema in Maribyrnong, Victoria, marking the brand's official entry into the Australian market and bringing the original active gaming experience to Australian Players.

The venue will feature 12 immersive game rooms with more than 800 levels of challenges. RFID technology tracks each Player across rooms, allowing guests to level up, unlock achievements and earn Next Level Rewards. Each room features fast-paced physical and mental challenges that test speed, coordination and problem-solving, with teams of two to five taking on the games together.

Players can experience fan-favorite games including Mega Grid, Mega Laser, Strike and Hide, while also competing on a global stage through Activate Global League and the annual Tournament of Champions. With Players and teams competing across locations around the world, Activate has built a global community centered on competition and connection.
