Asian Junior Elite Series (AJES) Officially Launches

Miles Group

"Janet Lin Pathways Project" to Provide Full Support
Series Tees Off in Beijing This November

SINGAPORE, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Miles Group has officially launched the Asian Junior Elite Series (AJES), a premier competitive platform designed to deliver professional-grade tournament experiences and direct global pathways for rising junior golfers across China and Asia. The inaugural tournament will tee off November 18–20, 2026, at the Beijing Topwin Golf and Country Club.

Tournament Format & Advancement System

The inaugural AJES season opens with a 54-hole stroke-play tournament featuring a 90-player field (50 boys, 40 girls). The top 8 male and top 6 female finishers will qualify for the AJES Finals. Scheduled ahead of the 2027 summer break, the Finals will take place at Enhance Anting Golf Club—a past host venue for both the Men's and Women's China Open that will serve as the exclusive AJES Finals venue through 2031. Beginning with the 2027–28 season, the series will expand into additional key Asian markets.

World Rankings & Global Pathways

All AJES events will earn points toward the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), The Universal Golf Rankings (TUGR), and the proprietary AJES Ranking system. Standout performers will earn direct AJGA tournament exemptions in the United States, while the AJES Finals will award academic and athletic scholarships.

Deep Integration with the "Janet Lin Pathways Project"

The series is partnered full-season with the "Janet Lin Pathways Project," founded by Paris Olympic medalist and LPGA star Janet Lin Xiyu, with support from the CJ Wang Family Foundation. Lin is currently working closely with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and The R&A, one of the highest governing and regulatory bodies in world golf to support the development of junior golf. "Janet Lin Pathways Project" will provide AJES players with elite competition opportunities, educational resources, and international exposure.

Evolving from the Junior Charity Classic

AJES builds on the success of June 2026's Junior Charity Classic. That event hosted 108 junior players and awarded top performers AJGA exemptions, leading directly to standout player Jiahang Li winning the girls' division at the Ninja Presents: Arnold Palmer Junior Invitational. Benchmarked against professional tour standards, the event generated over 20 million media impressions through multi-camera live broadcasts and coverage spanning national outlets and 13 countries and regions.

Elevating the Athlete Experience

Designed to address the distinct needs of Asian junior golfers, AJES will offer on-site recruiting opportunities with visiting college coaches, Pro-Junior pairing experience, and specialized training camps led by tour professionals and collegiate coaches.

Registration for the inaugural AJES Beijing Classic will open shortly. Details will be announced through official AJES tournament channels, ajesgolf.com.

About the Asian Junior Elite Series (AJES)

The Asian Junior Elite Series (AJES) is a premier junior golf tour created by Miles Group, and launched in 2026. The 2026-27 season features 3 regional tournaments and 1 annual grand finale. AJES connects directly with international ranking systems including WAGR, JGS, and TUGR. It also opens recruitment pathways for all the participants, offering a tournament experience built to professional tour standards.

About the Janet Lin Pathways Project

Initiated by the CJ Wang Family Foundation, the Janet Lin Pathways Project is named after the LPGA professional golfer and Olympic medalist, Janet Lin Xiyu. It aims to create more competitive, training, and growth opportunities for young golfers—especially girls—to help them forge their own path to success. Targeting regions outside North America and Europe to address deficiencies in tournament quality, training facilities, and mentor resources, the project provides channel and resource support for promising junior players in the Asia-Pacific region to reach international, high-level stages. Janet Lin Pathways Project is a partner with AJGA and the R&A.
